As a Christian daycare, we have established the following goals:

  • To provide a nurturing, relaxed, and safe environment with caring adults where self concepts are enhanced; independence is encouraged; free choice decisions are offered; social skills are acquired; individuality is respected and spiritual growth is developed.
  • To provide large portions of time in which the child can spend with his/her friends in a range of different activities.  The activities will be drawn from the following curriculum areas:  Bible, art, science, music, math, movement, language arts, large muscle, and fine motor skills.
  • To provide the child with opportunities to gain competence in a variety of skills and techniques that increases his/her interest and control over his/her environment.
  • To provide for each child’s physical well being while in our care.
  • To provide opportunities to develop large motor skills and coordination through physically active play.
  • To develop in the child an active curiosity about the world in which he/she lives and enthusiasm for learning which stimulates exploratory behavior and creativity.
  • To help the child gain self-discipline in an environment where he/she knows the limits and expectations.
  • To provide an atmosphere in the classroom which promotes respect for others and daycare resources.
